Strategies to boost emotions and of those around you

Ideas from How Full is your Bucket? by Tom Rath and Donald Clifton

1. Find something positive to say. Positivity is a bucket filler. If you catch yourself making a negative comment or hear others talking negatively, ask yourself how you can turn it around.

2. Focus on what is right instead of what is wrong.

3. Build relationships.

4. Give unexpectedly, tangible or intangible such as a secret or an article that he/she finds interesting. It is the thought that counts and showing that you are thinking of him/her.

5. Find out what matters the most to the individual, so your bucket filling deed is meaningful and impactful to the individual.
